Chad Casey (CKC) How I became a Cognoscenti I was a fan of GA from the time they announced the Daytona Prototype and new GT classes becuase the direction that sports car racing was about to take. The entire concept made great sense and was being backed by all the right people that helped make the GTP era so great. I started out as a member on the Grand Amercian message board and developed what has turned out to be some pretty good friendships with quite a few of its members. I came here because this site was often referenced in their posts for information from a different perspective....the true fans of this series! Racing Background Once I stepped onto the the grounds of Daytona International Speedway when I was seven years old with my parents, racing became my passion. The sights and sounds I experienced that weekend just blew me away. Spending most of my life in Central Florida has allowed me to be very close to the track that hosts the greatest race in the world....The 24 Hours of Daytona. I follow and am a fan of many other racing series world wide, but nothing compares to endurace sports car racing, especially at the Big 'D'! Other Info...Favorite Music: Rock |
