Cog-zio's Tidbits: Valerie Limoges
By Derek Meluzio
Tom Nastasi just announced the other day that he has signed 22-year-old Valerie Limoges to a three-year contract to drive the No. 4 Mustang GT for Blackforest Motorsports in Grand-Am Cup Series competition starting in 2006. This is big news. Yet another female driver breaking into professional motorsports. Danica Patrick, Milka Duno, and now Valerie Limoges. For being young she has already been racing for quite some time. She has experience in karts, the North American Fran-Am Series, and the Hankook Touring Car Series. You can read even more about her on her website (www.valerielimoges.com). From what I have been told about this young lady her speed, and her English gets better and better every weekend. She will certainly make a big impact on the series starting at the Daytona season opener.
