April 24, 2006 - Got 2 things for you today...first, razor took this video from VIR of a Grand Am Cup RX-8. If you've never heard one, you need to! Second is the GAFL results... The winner is new daddy CKC! He was followed by GAPR, flamingo man, wlfpkrcn, bonez, and new mommy sjc. The current standings are LIVE2RACE, JoeF, dmeluzio22, Waco Racer, CKC. April 17, 2006 - Here's a preview of something cool that Mike Paz and I are working on...his radio interviews from Long Beach! The first one is Mark Raffauf and is an interesting listen after-the-fact. Special thanks to Grand American for letting us use these!
April 10, 2006 - The results are posted for the Long Beach GAFL round. Congrats to frenzy88 for winning with the top score possible and winning a "In Roger We Trust" special edition garra-fans.com t-shirt! Finishing the top 5 were doncasey, LIVE2RACE, CKC, and mazda52. January 30, 2006 - Daytona 24 GAFL Results are posted here! Congrats to JoeF for winning the first race of the season, and the prize from Gainsco/Blackhawk Racing! Finishing second was LIVE2RACE, followed by Chevyguy, MarathonMan, and sjc, finishing the top five.

January 19, 2006 - Rich sent in an interview with Zach Arnold of ASC Motorsports here. The debut of the improved garra-fans.com has been put off until next week....but it will be worth your wait!
January 5, 2006 - I wrote a little something for Tommy's Notebook here...and, after I get back from vacation, the new and MUCH improved garra-fans.com will debut! Look for the debut to be January 18th or 19th.
January 4, 2006 - Chad Casey has stepped up and wrote something for us called “Christmas in January” here.
December 21st, 2005 - A couple of our writers have been busy visiting shops to get the inside scoop. Sput visited the Finlay Motorsports and Crawford shops and wrote this report, and Derek visited with the Apple Motorsports team and wrote this report. In case I don't post any more news before Christmas, everyone have a great holiday!

November 11th, 2005 - Congrats to RAZOR for winning the 2005 GAFL! And, congrats to DONCASEY for his second place finish, and being the first non-garra-fans.com staff member across the line! (He will be getting a t-shirt and hat for that!) Third was Sput, fourth was Brolzy, and 2004 GAFL champ RobinsonRacer came home fifth. Here is the final standings without race results, and with race results listed.
GTPstarter flogged the field for the Mexico race win over new champ razor, FCYTravis, CKC, and RobinsonRacer.
Also, as it was said on the message board, we have someone new joining us as a writer...Rich Hall (aka richmini99)! I am VERY excited to add him to our esteemed staff of writers. In the coming weeks look for some big changes to this part of the site...that part will go into testing next week for an early December launch.
October 25th, 2005 - More original content today! This time we have Emma Crawley's (Chocmonster) first article for garra-fans.com! Not only is it her first article on here, it's our first article from across the pond! We're going world-wide...
October 24th, 2005 - We have some good stuff today! First, Sput's beating EVERYONE to the punch by writing his 2005 year in review. Second, Derek has an interview with Valerie Limoges. Also, there's some nice behind the scenes stuff going on here...look for more information coming out soon.
October 11th, 2005 - First, here are the GAFL results from the VIR weekend, as well as the standings and 6Pick file. Many people are out of picks on the 10 car now. Congrats to RobK for winning the week! RobinsonRacer and sjc completed the podium. Razor is not far from having the championship locked up with a 950 point lead over the big mover of the week, doncasey and 1000 points over Sput. Speaking of Sput, here's his photos from Saturday and Sunday at VIR. Also, I wanted to mention that the FABCAR Engineering website has been updated today with an update on the Pontiac FABCAR and the 2006 Porsche FABCAR. And finally, I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to GTP Activewear for re-upping the sponsorship of this website for another year!

August 10th, 2005 - Just some website updates...no content right now. I know, content has been lacking lately, I apologize for that. All I can say is it will be much better for Mid-Ohio! Of the updates. first is the GAFL deadline for Watkins Glen is Thursday at Midnight CST. Secondly, the new shirts will be available starting next week.

July 1st, 2005 - Here are the results from the Daytona 250 round of the GAFL...Race Results, Season Standings, and the new 6 Pick file. Congrats to Chocmonster for winning the race over me (Brolzy) and DATSUN510. For the season, there's a new points leader, I took the lead over razor by 13 points, with DATSUN510, Sput, and doncasey rounding out the top five.

June 7th, 2005 - Ted Tackett sent in these photos that were taken at a test session at Gingerman Raceway, which are left overs from his article over at lmsr.net. Look for a Pre-Watkins Glen 6 Hour Tommy's Notebook later this week, as well as a bit of organization to this page and a re-work of the menu on the left.
June 6th, 2005 - Derek Meluzio has another Cogzio's Tidbits, this time with Jeff Segal, driver of the Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia/ Empire Paintball Maserati #33 GT car.
June 1st, 2005 - In testing at Summit Point earlier this week, one of the PTG BMW's hit a deer, causing major damage to the car. The driver was okay, but the deer wasn't. Reports say that the car struck the deer and got caught under the car, causing the car to spin. The chassis is reported to be okay, but the front of the car was messed up pretty bad. (from an anonymous source).

May 23rd, 2005 - The results for the GAFL Mont-Tremblant round are up here... (race results, standings, 6 Pick Excel file). Congrats to razor for winning the week (even though he was at a different race!), with doncasey finishing second, and DMELUZIO22 rounding out the podium. The GAFL point leader is still DATSUN510, followed by razor, Brolzy, doncasey (the big mover of the week), and Sput. Our 2004 GAFL champion RobinsonRacer is sitting in sixth right now.

The GAFL Points Leader is DATSUN510, followed by Brolzy, rolex24guy, razor, and then Sput completes the top 5. I also wanted to thank razor for the scoring help (as usual), and for Danske being our chat-master! There were quite a few people in the room on Sunday!
