Patrick Brown (PatB)
I grew up around car's. My dad is a mechanic and I followed him around his shop(Napa) since I was about 4, if not younger. I started helping him out at about 12, doing lube job's and sweeping the floor... I hate brooms.;) Later(1995) I got into muscle car's when I bought my first car a 1970 Dodge Dart. I started out modifying it for drag racing but found out that it made for a decent handling sportscar. I started reading into GT sportscar's trying to make the Dodge more fun in the twisty's. Anyway's I went to college for a Automotive Part's Technician license. Got my own house and finally got a satellite dish. That's when I got SPEEDVISION :) I watched a couple ALMS race's cause I always wondered what the big deal was with LeMans. I liked it but it wasn't until I started watching the Grand Am Rolex series (2001) that I officially became a sportscar freak. I really liked the close racing in the series and it has a great family sort of feeling you could say. I haven't been to any GA race's yet but if I can stop myself from buying more toy's for my car/house I should see you and the guy's at Daytona next February.
