With the Rolex Champions Banquet underway this evening, I felt this as good a time as any to introduce myself to the readers of garra-fans.com. Some of you might remember me from the Grand Am report I did for lmsr.net last season. Doing the site was great fun, and I wish Michael Jordon the best on his latest endeavor.

When Mike decided to go in a different direction, I thought it was time for me to try something different as well. There are a number of very good sportscar news sources out there, and I thought maybe it was time to do something fans like myself could get a little more involved with. Being a "Cog"; I naturally approached Tommy Brolsma to see if he needed help with "content". He told me he had been toying with the idea of doing a Grand Am-dedicated blog and that was all I needed to hear. A "Cog Blog" was an excellent idea!!! Working with the likes of Razor, Sput, Brolzy, and dmelusio22 will be great fun, and I hope to get to know many of you better as the 2006 Rolex and Cup Series get underway.
